Mid Winter Adelaide 2006

Betty's 80th birthday (Ady's mum) that's Ray (Ady's Dad)in the backgound

Well it has been a cold dry winter here in Adelaide. One of the wettest April on record, the coldest May on record and driest June on record. Yet there are still deniers of climate change. I use the term climate change with a sneer. The correct term is global warming but the US and Arab Oil lobbies have forced a change of language to make the whole event less ominous. If you are interested in how language is distorted to hide reality visit http://unspeak.net/ by the author Steven Poole. I think it is time to spice up this page with opinions and comments on curent events and invite friends and vistors to comment.

I will continue to post pictures as it is my intention to keep this as a postcard of myself and family. but I also want to have dialogue with friends and possible visitors.
This collection of photos include Ella turnig 16. In South Australia that means getting your drivers licence.
